I had wanted another longer hike to follow up my ascents of Chatímanwi, and decided to head up Lost Creek Trail. The switchbacks up toward the ridge were manageble if a little annoying at times, but the ridgeline trail got noticibly steeper and noticibly more snowy. Very slow goings, but when we got to the top we were greeted with pristine views of the Central Oregon Cascades. Hikes like this remind me why I love doing this, and the photos turned out really well, and we finished the hike in half-an-hour less time than our nearly-identical distance/elevation hike up Chatímanwi two weeks earlier, so we're getting faster!
